Piercing

It has been privately suggested that I consider having the molesters force Ranma and Akane to be pierced, as this provides possibilities for BDSM play. I thought I'd let everyone know now that this isn't going to happen, for the simple reason that I personally regard piercing as a turn off.

Please note, this is a personal taste. I have no problem with other people liking it, or liking to read about it, or having it done themselves. But as the author of the story, given that writing about it would have a negative effect on my libido, it's not going to be showing up.

Sorry 'bout that (for those of you who would have enjoyed it).

Ryoga Keeping Ranma Male

T H Tiger, review of chapter 24, extract:
I do have a quibble, it's wholly because of my bias and likely not shared by everyone. It was Ryouga keeping Ranma male, and actually getting him to steer Ryouga into Akane. A mervelous bit of nasty on Ryouga's part, but I can't help but think he would be uncomfortable as hell with a guy handling his junk. In my own mind he just covered well and really ground Ranma's nose in the dirt at the same time. For my preference I'd just as well prefer it if Ranma were not male during these little sessions.

I think it is quite reasonable to assume that Ryoga was uncomfortable with having Ranma's hand on his manhood, if for no other reason his memories of what Ranma was like before he became weak. I mean, would you really be comfortable having a guy take hold of your prick when he hates your guts, and you can remember a time when he could lift and toss boulders around? So as THTiger suggested, I think Ryoga did feel that way, but suppressed any expression of his discomfort for the sake of carrying out this piece of nastiness.

I won't promise not to have Ranma male again during future sessions, but I believe that if I do it will be a fairly rare occurrence.

Water Temperature Correction

I have modified chapter 24 on both sites to correct the mistake I made with the water in the greenhouse. The paragraph about the pan of water has been replaced with two paragraphs in which the water comes from the roof. It being winter, the water outside on the roof should be cold enough to transform Ranma. The means by which Ranma gets hit with this water is a little more contrived, but still within the bounds of the ordinary for the Ranma universe.

Water Temperature Goof

Oh ... blast. Bloody, bloody ... blast. As Scorpinac just pointed out to me, there's a major flaw in chapter 24. That pan of water in the greenhouse wouldn't be ice water, so it should not have changed Ranma into a girl. Damn. Now I have to go back and change the chapter, and find some way for some ice water to hit Ranma at that point.

Keeping plot points in mind is more of a pain than I realized before I began writing. Heck, just keeping track of whether Ranma is male or female is sometimes difficult.

Chapter 24 Posted

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

Chapter 24 Ready. Sort of.

I've gone back through and cleaned up chapter 24, so that it's ready to post. Almost. I just have to do a little tweaking associated with getting the files in the right format for the sites where I post them. However, it's well past midnight, I haven't been getting enough sleep lately, and there's one other thing I have to do before seeking my bed. So I'm planning to put off posting the chapter until tomorrow. Which is really today, but after I've had a night's sleep.

By the end of the chapter, you'll know whether or not Ranma and Akane managed to have sex at the farm, as they intended.

Chapter 24 Draft Complete

I've completed the draft of chapter 24 of MV. Now I just need to go back through and tidy it up. Who knows, if I'm energetic enough, I might get it up before the night is over. Don't count on that though. More likely is that it will be posted Friday or Saturday. Still, I think I can confidently predict that you'll be able to read the chapter before next week.

It currently stands (before tidying) at around eleven thousand words.
