More Thoughts on AI Art

A considerable amount of time has passed since I last voiced my opinions about erotic fan-art produced using AI tools. In that time, while looking over sites for erotic fan-art which appeals to me, I have necessarily been subjected to viewing a lot of such art produced with such AI tools. So, do I have anything more to add to what I've said previously?

Firstly, I still hold by the opinions which I have expressed before. The bulk of AI-generated erotic fan-art is boring and generally worthless for stimulating one's libido, or at least for stimulating my libido. Nonetheless, someone who is sufficiently imaginative is capable of using AI tools to produce erotic fan-art which is interesting, exciting, stimulating, or to which other positive adjectives may be applied. Such sadly doesn't happen often, but it does happen occasionally.

However, one new comment which I would like to add is that most such art suffers from the fact that the central female character is rendered sufficiently well, or even very well, but the male characters included in the image are virtually always generic rather than being taken from the male characters of the universe in question. This is something which is considerably more rare in art created by a human.

If I see a cartoon in which Akane Tendo and some guy are getting it on, then I like it when the guy is Ranma, or Ryoga, or Kuno (father or son), or Happosai, or her own father Soun, etc. I don't mind the occasional cartoon where Akane is sucking the cock of some random student at Furinkan High School, or getting gang banged by some unknown group of men who have abducted her. But I like it when the bulk of cartoons I am looking over featuring Akane (when she is not solo) also feature boys/men from the Ranma 1/2 universe.

Pink-haired Ranma

I was thinking of making some post wondering how long it would take for hentai images of female-Ranma to appear sporting pink hair, as she has in the reboot. But then I remembered that RanmaBooks had already made such a post back on Thursday, Oct 3.

AI Rant

God, I wish we could ban all of the AI-generated garbage from our erotic cartoon sites! 99.99% of it is so bland and uninspiring that I can't imagine it producing an erection in a horny teenager. (Or the equivalent for teenagers of the female persuasion.) And it seems like every time someone inflicts more of this crap on us, they can't resist the urge to post a few dozen highly similar images, each one as worthless as the next. And the steaming piles of such so bury the remaining enticing posts by actual artists, that those few gems can slip by unnoticed as one's eyes skim through as quickly as possible in self defense of one's libido. I know it is theoretically possible to use sufficiently creative prompts to produce something with AI which can grab one's proper interest, but that accounts for the 0.01% leftover in the above figure, which to no degree makes me feel more forgiving toward the rest of the fecal matter.

Triwizard Task 2 Hostages

A cartoon I would like to see is a slightly different universe where Harry Potter has just come upon the hostages in the merpeople's village under the Black Lake, during the second task of the Triwizard Tournament. The hostages were all abducted from their beds the night before, so they are only wearing nightgowns and nothing else. Nightgowns pasted to their bodies by the water and totally transparent. Hermione Granger as Krum's hostage, Cho Chang as Diggory's hostage, and Gabrielle Delacour as Fleur's hostage. But in this universe Gabrielle is slightly older, with a pair of budding boobs on her chest. And also in this universe, Harry's hostage was chosen in the same way as Viktor's and Cedric's. So instead of Ron bloody Weasley, Harry's hostage is his date from the ball, Parvati Patil.

I can just see Harry floating there and staring. Forgetting entirely the reason he is there.

Personally, of the two Patil twins I prefer Padma. But it wouldn't matter for purposes of such a picture, as they're identical twins, and she's in a nightgown, not a school robe.

Bowsette?

What is up with the huge number of Bowsette cartoons on Hentai Foundry lately (and elsewhere)? It's fine with me if other people like them, but despite enjoying pictures featuring Princess Peach, for some reason I find the Bowsette pictures uninteresting. Not a turn off, just uninteresting. And lately it feels like I'm wading through way too many of them. It's a pity there isn't an easy way to filter them out, as with the guro and scat pictures.

Oh, and I'm still around, just not up to much which would be of interest to anyone here. Had a recent stay in the hospital, but I'm back home now and (mostly) better.

Clark and Tiger

D Clark is putting posts on his site consisting of short scenes written by TH Tiger and illustrated by himself. You should definitely check them out. Mostly Ranma, Ryoga, Ukyo, Shampoo and a little Akane so far. I'm looking forward to some scenes with Nabiki and Kasumi. And maybe female Ranma with someone other than Ryoga.

At any rate, if you look at the artwork section dating back to 2014-10-26, there are quite a few based on Ranma 1/2. He is allegedly considering doing a reboot of the manga as a furry comic with a hentai slant.

The Curse Strikes Again

I purchased an external hard drive for my computer, and set up to have everything backed up to it once a day, every day. It seems to be working fine. Hopefully any future problems with my home computer will not lead to a loss of precious data.

So how else can the curse strike? A couple of weeks ago the primary hard drive in my workstation at the office died! They put in a new drive, but were unable to recover anything from the dead drive. Oh well - this is a major company. They make backups.

The backup was unrecoverable. Something about an encryption that got fucked up. I'm like, what kind of million to one chance is this?! Just who in the netherworld did I piss off that much?

Luckily - and I say this through gritted teeth - I had just taken that business trip overseas in September. For which I took a laptop on which I had copied a lot of material from the workstation. Which I was able to copy back from the laptop. So there was a lot of important stuff which I didn't lose. On the other hand, there was a lot of vital data which I did lose - including all information on some research projects into which I'd put a fair bit of work.

So things at the office have been - let's say a little hectic. For want of more expletive laden language. And naturally my health took a downturn under the stress.

In other news, I did some more work on the current chapter of Greenery Day last night. Hopefully, barring any other distractions, I'll finish it sometime soon. At the moment, Ranma's getting a shave.

Hentai Foundry Rule Change

One of my favorite cartoon sites is Hentai Foundry. However, it looks like a few days ago they were forced to succumb to a change in rules, prohibiting posting of "underage" content. So I suppose we won't be seeing any further Ranma 1/2 stuff there, except perhaps Nodoka and Kasumi, since most of the characters are technically underage.

Personally I think this sort of thing is incredibly silly. Anyone who can't tell the difference between a cartoon and a real person is someone who has no business being on a porn site in the first place.

Ookami-Ranma and Akane

It's not just a question of what left Ranma in this half-wolf half-human state. Is he a half-demon like Inuyasha? A were-wolf? Some different Jusenkyo curse? But the even bigger question is what got into Akane to do this outside on the lawn? That's assuming she's willing, which she appears to be. Although I guess it could have started out with her unwilling and Ranma tearing off all of her clothes, and now she's just gotten very into it and lost control.

An interesting point that this brings up is that I don't really think of it as full-on bestiality when I see fan-art or a story involving sex between one of the female cast and a cursed male like P-chan or panda-Genma. In fact, handled right that can be downright arousing. I rather enjoy the image (I have it somewhere) of panda-Genma giving it to Kasumi.

Another thing I'd really like to see — which I don't think I've ever come across — is a hentai image of Shampoo in her cat form being raped by a tomcat in an alley or similar, while other toms are looking on waiting for their own turn. With the typical anime tear blobs at the corners of her eyes. I think that would be really hot so long as the female cat is recognizably Shampoo. Or possibly without the rape — she's just gone into heat in her cat form and can't control herself.

There don't seem to be very many good stories involving incest in the Ranma 1/2 universe, with perhaps the exception of Genma and Ranma. Unfortunately, a Genma/Ranma pairing doesn't do much for me — probably because a pairing of Genma with anyone doesn't do much for me, unless I'm in a certain mood.

Mind you, there are such stories out there. But it seems that they usually don't manage to bring me into the story, even to the mild degree needed for porn. Somehow they don't manage to sell me on their set up.

What I'd really like to see is a story in which Soun has incestuous desires concerning his daughters, but in a subtle rather than an overt fashion. I.e., he doesn't have out-and-out sex with them, or engage in obvious peeping. But he has insisted that daughters require discipline so long as they live under their father's roof (and maybe beyond), and that proper discipline is administered upon bare bottoms (or perhaps even other bare areas). He insists that proper Japanese families bathe together. He monitors their hygiene by watching carefully while they bathe, and bathing anything himself where he feels they are too lax. He monitors their health by such practices as regular measurements, at least of breast size, and possibly also other aspects such as areola diameter and pubic hair extent. He insists that pubic hair be trimmed, or even entirely shaved, and the girls never do so sufficiently well themselves, so he must always touch it up. There is a spectrum of possibilities on which he can fall here, from only slightly abnormal behavior to utterly psychotic.

Then Genma and Ranma show up. Genma is merely confused by his old friend's behavior, doesn't know what to make of it, but advises his son that it is a father's right to raise his children as he sees fit. On the other hand, since Ranma must marry one of the girls, Soun starts to draw Ranma into his eccentricities. Ranma slowly metamorphoses from being weirded out to becoming addicted to these games.

I don't really see Soun playing his games with female-Ranma. Ranma won't have had the years of training to submit to such behavior that the Tendo girls had. Soun might try a little bit, like measuring Ranma's breasts, but I think Ranma would put a stop to it. And in any case, Soun is concentrating on Ranma being his male heir. On the other hand, I think he would take advantage of Ranma's female form where his daughters are concerned. For instance, Soun could insist that Ranma accompany his daughters (in female form) in public bathhouses and the like, to enforce his standards in locations where he himself cannot.

Kodachi's Comeuppance

Kodachi's face and hair doesn't look much like her in this picture, at least to me. Nonetheless, it's a fitting thing to have happen to her, I think. I imagine it happening something like this.

Kodachi slammed the door of the gymnasium open and marched out into the night. The match had ended long since, and there were few people around.
