The results of the magical item poll suggest that the item a normal guy at Furinkan would most want to get his hands on for perverted purposes are kairaishi mushrooms, with 35/54 (64%) of those voting. These are the mushrooms which can force the eater to obey one specific command which is tied to an auditory stimulus, until the effect wears off.
A very distant second, with well less than half as many votes (14/54 = 25%) was a fishing pole of love, a device which could allow one to cause another person to fall in love with oneself, potentially forever. Although it is initially reversible if one can get hold of the fishing pole in time.
And in third place with 10/54 (18%) of the votes were the magic paper dolls, which can cause people to obey commands written on the dolls when those dolls are placed on a person's back.
From there it trailed downward with the love pill bracelet (9 votes), the wishbringer sword or sleeping powder or gas (8 votes each), instant Nyanniichuan powder (7 votes), the magical compact or paralysis powder or gas (5 votes each), the pail of preservation, lenses of invincibility, or the umbrella of love (4 votes apiece), some mushrooms of time or incense of spring sleep (3 votes each). In last place with one vote apiece were the reversal jewel or some super soba.

Magical Item Poll
The poll question is “Which of the following items would a perverted sly male student at Furinkan wish to have?” The idea here is that we are talking about a male student who is perverted, reasonably intelligent (not idiots like canon Kuno or Gosunkugi who will screw it up), and fairly normal (not a highly powered martial artist). The poll is set up for approval voting - you may vote for multiple items which you think would be most applicable.
The following is a brief review of the items in question. In all cases assume that the person in possession only has a limited supply of the item.
Instant Nyanniichuan. Powder which when added to water produces a temporary spring of drowned girl; i.e., it gives a male a temporary curse like Ranma's.
Paralysis powder/gas. Gas to inhale or powder to put in food or water which induces temporary paralysis in the victim. The person is conscious, but cannot move or speak.
Sleeping powder/gas. Gas to inhale or powder to put in food or water which induces temporary sleep from which the victim cannot be awakened.
Spring sleep incense. Similar to the previous, an incense which when breathed induces sleep from which the victim cannot be awakened until reacting to smells associated with summer. Warning: the victim though asleep will act out her or his dreams.
Love pill bracelet. A bracelet containing three pills which make the swallower fall in love with the first person seen of the opposite gender, with durations of one minute, one day, or one's lifetime. Assume that the possessor knows which pill is which.
Kairaishi mushrooms. When eaten by the victim, the first command which is given and associated with a sound, such as a clap or bell ringing, will cause the victim to obey that command every time she or he hears the sound until the effect wears off.
Super soba. When consumed (presumably by the possessor) one gains super strength, until the antidote is swallowed. Warning: the one affected will also grow cat whiskers.
Wishbringer sword. The possessor is granted three wishes, although the magic appears to be restricted to small things or events which can be made to appear as natural occurrences.
Magic paper dolls. Paper figures on which one may write a command. When placed on a person's back, the person must obey the command. The need to obey the command seems to end after the doll is removed. The possessor may only possess a limited number, around a dozen.
Reversal jewel. The person wearing the jewel will either express their feelings associated with romance and love in abundance, when worn in the upright position, or will express the opposite of those feelings when worn in the reversed position.
Fishing pole of love. Whoever is struck with the suction cup on the end of the fishing line will gradually fall in love with the caster, as the mark of a carp grows where struck. The antidote is to be struck with the suction cup a second time, so that it pulls the carp mark off.
Pail of preservation. When a Jusenkyo cursed individual is splashed with water from this pail, his or her curse is locked until splashed with water from the kettle of liberation.
Invincibility lenses. Whoever looks upon the person wearing the lenses of invincibility is forced to grovel, cry and apologize to the wearer.
Umbrella of love. Any two people who stand simultaneously under this umbrella will temporarily fall in love, at least while under the umbrella, even if they are of the same gender.
Mushrooms of time. Anyone eating one of these mushrooms will change to an age determined by the height of the mushroom - e.g., consuming a mushroom 12 cm tall will change one to age 12. Assume the possessor is growing the mushrooms, so can choose the desired height.

Akaneniichuan Poll Results
The poll asked, "Which character, if cursed by the Akaneniichuan, would put it to the most perverted use?"
The winner by far, with 18 of 45 votes (45%) was one of Ranma's other fiancees, Shampoo, Ukyo or Kodachi. I know, in fact, of a couple of stories where Shampoo did so. In one she had sex with Kuno in front of the entire school in order to brand Akane as a slut, except it backfired when Akane appeared on the scene and everyone found out what was going on. In the other Shampoo had the real Akane shipped off to China, while she remained in Japan with the curse locked and married Ranma (with him thinking she was Akane - Shampoo also had her voice removed so that speaking wouldn't give her away).
In second and third places, with 5 and 4 votes out of 45 respectively (11% and 8%), were Happosai and Tatewaki Kuno. I can easily imagine either of them using it while playing with themselves, and Happosai using it to bathe with Nabiki and Kasumi.

Poll Results for Nodoka
The question was: "Which male character(s) would be the most interesting sex partners for Nodoka Saotome?" Multiple choices were allowed in voting.
Top choice with 29/57 (50%) votes was: Pantyhose Taro. I'm guessing people like the idea of tentacle sex for Nodoka. Or maybe pantyhose bondage. Or both. Or bestiality with a really big beast? Who knows.
Choice number 2 was the incest choice of her son Ranma, with 24/57 (47%) of the votes.
After that everyone was a distant finisher, with Happosai and Kuno (Tatewaki) coming in at 7/57 (12%), then Ryoga at 6/57 (10%), followed by Principal Kuno at 5/57 (8%). Ryu Kumon (my favorite) had a measly 3/57 (5%), while Mousse and Soun only got 2/57 (3%) votes each, and her husband Genma came in dead last with a single vote.

Minor Poll Blip
If you looked at my blog earlier, for a brief time you might have seen the alleged results of the latest poll. That was my goof. My new polling widget doesn't automatically close the poll at a specified time. For some reason I thought tonight was the night I said I was going to close it, but it's tomorrow. So I closed it and posted the results. After I realized my mistake, I reopened the poll and removed the results.
Oh well.
I won't be posting anything else tonight. My evil wife brought home a recently published book from the library that I was planning to buy after it came out in paperback. And I'm anxious to get back to it.
If I were writing (or reading) a "Groundhog Day" style story without lemon bits, I think it might be interesting to force Nabiki to live through Ranma's and Akane's attempted wedding, over and over and over again. With it dissolving into disaster in as many different ways as possible, even when she herself actively conspires to keep all of the crazies ignorant. And she'd be informed by some kami just before the first repetition - or maybe after a couple of dozen - that she can't break out of the loop until she figures out some way for the wedding to be carried off successfully. I can just picture Nabiki going crazy as she tries to do something good for once in her life, and can't figure out a way to keep other people from screwing it up, again and again and again.

As best I can remember, female-Ranma was around 60%, Akane around 45-50%, Kasumi and Nabiki close to Akane, with Nodoka only a little behind, then Shampoo, Kodachi and Hinako well behind those (in that order?), and finally Ukyo and Akari trailing in last place.
Drat. Dang. Blast. Grrr.
Sigh.
