Selective Amnesia
In this cartoon idea, Genma and Ranma have just arrived at the Tendo house for the first time, but in their true forms — Genma as a human and not a panda, Ranma as a boy and not a girl. Nabiki Reversed, part 3

Noboru said nothing but took a step backward. Nabiki slipped past and entered the house, then turned to him and said cheerfully, “So which way to your bedroom?”
He led the way around a corner and into the family room. “My parents won't be home from work for a couple of hours yet. This'll do fine.”
Nabiki looked around and suppressed a grimace. She'd much prefer a bed, but needs must. Smiling again, she unzipped her skirt and let it fall. As she continued removing clothing, she grew puzzled that Noboru was simply standing there, watching her.

Nabiki Reversed, Part 1
Part 1 of a scene based on the Reversal Jewel arc in the manga, found in VIZ translation volume 20, chapters 7 to 10, and most specifically chapter 10. Alternatively, this was volume 22 chapter 10 in the original Japanese volumes, or chapter 233 out of 407 in the overall chapter count. In canon, it was pretty much as depicted at the beginning of the scene below, except that Cologne managed to take the jewel off of Akane shortly after she noticed it. Akane forgot why she was at the Nekohanten, Ranma said something about Akane loving him so much, and she punched him through the ceiling.
Ranma knelt beside Shampoo in the Nekohanten, sweating and nervous in his formal attire. It was supposed to be easy. For some reason Shampoo had stopped pursuing him, instead expressing disgust and even hatred toward him. His ego could not handle this. In order to set the world right again, and restore Shampoo's devotion toward him, all he had to do was to tell her that he loved her. Then she would say it back, he could take a deep breath, and he could forget that all of this had happened.
For the third time he tried. “Shampoo. I'm only going to say this once. I ... I l-... I l-... Um. I-I-I er ...”
“I love you!”
Ranma stared at the girl who had popped up in front of him. Akane. Beaming at him with her eyes shining in a way he had never seen. Her face absolutely glowing. A smile on her lips which pierced his heart with its beauty. And to his shock she was saying ...

Minor Poll Blip
If you looked at my blog earlier, for a brief time you might have seen the alleged results of the latest poll. That was my goof. My new polling widget doesn't automatically close the poll at a specified time. For some reason I thought tonight was the night I said I was going to close it, but it's tomorrow. So I closed it and posted the results. After I realized my mistake, I reopened the poll and removed the results.
Oh well.
I won't be posting anything else tonight. My evil wife brought home a recently published book from the library that I was planning to buy after it came out in paperback. And I'm anxious to get back to it.
If I were writing (or reading) a "Groundhog Day" style story without lemon bits, I think it might be interesting to force Nabiki to live through Ranma's and Akane's attempted wedding, over and over and over again. With it dissolving into disaster in as many different ways as possible, even when she herself actively conspires to keep all of the crazies ignorant. And she'd be informed by some kami just before the first repetition - or maybe after a couple of dozen - that she can't break out of the loop until she figures out some way for the wedding to be carried off successfully. I can just picture Nabiki going crazy as she tries to do something good for once in her life, and can't figure out a way to keep other people from screwing it up, again and again and again.
