I think one reason I haven't been posting much is that my posts lately have tended to take on a whining tone. Poor, pitiful me. Yeah, I may have had a rough patch lately, but overall I've had a pretty damn good life, and even now there are lots of people who are a hell of a lot worse off. It disturbs me to hear myself being so whiney. It doesn't fit my self image.
So, while I want to keep my readers informed if there are reasons why they're not getting new material, I want to keep it simple and straightforward.
And by the way, who the hell decided that we should go straight from autumn to spring this year?
Oh, well... it might sound callous, but there is nothing better for starting self- improvement and change than a well- placed kick into one's self image. Now, while it would be a shame if your stories suffer from that developement posting- wise, perhaps you might gain a new perspective/access to it ;)

Yeah. I haven't read it, but I suspect I'm not missing anything by not doing so. On the other hand, I don't object to it. In my opinion, people can write whatever they want. And if I can write a story using Takahashi's characters and setting, then it would be a bit hypocritical of me to say other people can't write based on my version of the characters and settings.

ReplyDeleteJust finished reading "Moxibustion Violation", and I must say that while I do not always agree with the contents of that story, it's by far one of the best Ranma 1/2 lemon fanfictions I've had to pleasure to read thus far. The same can be said for "Examination", actually.
ReplyDeleteAbout the only R½ lemon I can think of right away that has a similarly high level of quality would be T.H. Tigers "Poke Her" fic.
Anyways, I hope you'll find the inspiration to write some more! There aren't even nearly enough good Ranma lemon fics out there.
