The setting for this cartoon idea is a fighting ring set up on the grounds of Furinkan High School, just like the one in which Ranma and Ukyo fought on the first day they met at Furinkan. The ring is completely surrounded by students. A fuming Akane Tendo, in school uniform, is just outside the ring at the front of the crowd. Inside the ring, a male Ranma is screwing a naked Ukyo. Ranma's head is turned to the side, looking directly at Akane, as he explains to her, "I always thought my old pal Ucchan was another boy! I told her I didn't believe her, so she's proving she really is a girl!"
I always thought it would have been a better storyline in the original manga if Ukyou had actually been a boy.
ReplyDeleteThe backstory in my mind was that when Ranma met Ukyou Genma was pulling a "Some Like it Hot" scam to escape some mess, so he and Ranma were dressed as females and 'boy' Ukyou thought Ranma was a girl.
Some like it hot was an old movie where two guys dress as girls to escape from some mobsters. A Marlyn Monroe, movie with Tony Curtis and Jake Lemmon.
It would have been fun to have a boy with a legitimate claim on female Ranma.
I like it. That might well have been a better use for Ukyo. Especially if he insisted that since Genma agreed to the engagement, that Ranma was obligated to live as a girl who occasionally changes into a boy and marry him. Then we could have fan-fiction where Ukyo tries to make a deal with Akane where they both marry Ranma, with Ukyo being the spouse to Ranma's female half, and Akane being the spouse to Ranma's male half, and maybe even a third leg with some action between Ukyo and Akane.
ReplyDeleteThat would have made for some sweet fan fiction, and given my bias it would slowly morph into a situation where Ukyou has in effect two wives. Add in a BDSM component and it would be near perfect.
